Jewelry Fall 2011

Hammered (originally foldformed) and melted pendant.

Copper cuff that Ian made.

A bunch of foldform/melted bracelets.

Another hammered/melted pendant.

Foldform "book" necklace.

Bead.

Brass and copper attempt at filigree.

Hair piece

Here's a hairpiece I made- ribbons, feathers, button, lace, some little fake black flowers, glue, elastic.

My Yac Display from Winter '11

My two displays at yac, for the last show:

Mine is the little section by the window.

"Microscopy" in a frame.

Hanni and I collaborated on this idea of making extremely tini pots that can hang as pendants, and here they are! They're just big enough to hold a flower. :)

Fungus cups and the Gravy Bowl

"Fungus" cups. I love these things.

Gravy bowl, with spoon.

And from above.

A bunch of pieces III

A mini bowl sort of thing.

This is a really horrible photo. It's a little vase, and I swear it's not that deformed. I shall have to rephotograph.

A purposefully obnoxious salsa bowl.

Little container.

One of the "Roof" vases.

Just a vase. Something about it reminds me of a house I lived in when I was little.

A bunch of pieces II

A mini bowl/cup thing.

A vase.

Two bud vases. The round one is tipped over, because vases are so much more interesting in photos when they're sideways. (sarcasm- that was just an oversight)

Two matching containers. Green and black, you can hardly see the green in the picture.

Some trees. The one on the right is watercolored.

Vases and ocean abstraction

A vase. I like the "bubble" glaze.

A sculptured vase.

An ocean-inspired bowl.

Another vase, deep-sea inspired. Tube worms, anyone?

Watercolor and Terra Cotta

Cluster watercolor minipots! They're sealed, so the watercolor won't wash off.

Watercolored anemone.

A little terra cotta pot. Went to a good home.

A large terra cotta pot.
This was the first time I'd really worked with terra cotta. I like it. It's like a very gritty exfoliate for your hands when you (try to) throw it. Love.

Funky bowls

These have grown on me:
This could be used as a jewelry bowl.

I don't know what you could use this for. It's pretty big.

A bunch of pieces

Just a curly little plate I made. Notice the pressed flower texture on the far end.

I made this...almost two years ago. Wow.

One of a series of leaf plates.

sculpture of my dog.

A little box. I really liked this one.

Winter teapot

My Winter teapot, which I think I want to remake with finer details, now that I've gotten better at making "branches."

Summer teapot

Here's the summer teapot I made a while ago. It went to a good home.
