Fold Forming Exploration

Not a jewelry piece (yet?) but it was a cool project. Thanks to Man, for showing some of us how to do it.

A pendant. I'm excited about this one.

A bracelet that was more experimental than anything. First time I've been able to really grasp the concept. I want to make another one, but thinner so that it's not such an extreme, KA-POW accessory.

Next, earrings.

A further compilation of old metal arts stuff

A ring I made, second semester. One of my favorites, because the stone is just incredible (to me), and I learned so much in the process of filing that bezel to fit the freakin' base plate.

First semester, first ever bead project.

Second semester fold forming.

First semester- this was another scrap that I hammered in the driveway and tortured in every possible way, then laced it up.

Second semester wire bracelet. Theresa showed some of my stuff in her slide show at the beginning of the semester (I was really touched and honored) and it reminded me that this thing even existed, so I pulled it out of the dark shadows of my room and took a picture of it in the name of S.I. Here you go.

Ceramic pendants

I'll take photos of some of the others that I've made. I just had these laying around.

More old metal jewelry...

Partial photo of a necklace I made for my mom. The discs are hammer-textured on the slate pathway outside of my house. The neighbors love me.

A hairpiece that I have yet to do anything with.

My first hinge project.

Random scraps, great color. I wish I hadn't mashed the front of it with a soldering pick- live and learn.

Spikes

These are really bad photos, but hey. Here's my spike stuff.

A bowl. Use your imagination.

A cup, in all it's wonky glory. I'm going to make another one that's better. What you're seeing inside are a few spikes of varying hight, and the tallest one is allllmost even with the rim. Makes it pretty hard to photograph.
:)
